We are proud to announce that Dr. Kendall Ho has been elected to the Board of Directors of Canada’s Health Informatics Association, COACH, for the upcoming year! We are very excited to have a voice in this great organization, and hope to uphold the high standards of programming and resources that COACH has provided across Canada in health technology and informatics.

The 2011-2012 Board of Directors has assumed its responsibilities following the election of Mike Barron and Kendall Ho, MD, to the vacant positions. COACH members elected Mike and Kendall during the Board election earlier this spring. They were introduced as the new Board members during the Annual General Meeting in Toronto May 31.
Mike, who was re-elected, is President & CEO with the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Health Information. He continues to serve as the Board Secretary-Treasurerer. Kendall is Associate Professor, Emergency Medicine and Director, eHealth Strategy Office with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia.
