On September 20th, 2012, Led by Deputy Director General Mr. Wang Panshi, a delegation from Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau, China, visited Faculty of Medicine and met with Dr. Fred Mikelberg (Vice Dean, Faculty of Medicine), Dr. David Patrick(Director, School of Population and Public Health), Dr. Kendall Ho(Director, eHealth Strategy Office), Dr. Charles Larson(Director, Centre for International Child Health), Dr. Jat Sandhu(Regional Director, Vancouver Coastal Health Public Health Surveillance Unit), Dr. James Lu(Medical Health Officer, Richmond, Vancouver Coastal Health) and Ms. Daniella Weber(International Manager, FoM).
There were meeting and discussions during the visit, both sides exchanged experience and discussed potential areas for future cooperation.
The visit was very fruitful, a MoU was signed between Faculty of Medicine and WHO Shanghai Collaboration Center during this visit.
