This one-of-a-kind health forum drew 500 participants, allowing vital health information to reach both in-person attendees and remote viewers online. The forum held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 featured a panel of health professionals who spoke about diabetes and cardiovascular diseases – some of the most prevalent chronic diseases in South Asian populations. The health professionals addressed complications that arise as a result of the conditions and focused on key lifestyle management strategies and techniques for prevention.
