Unfortunately, we do not have capacity to translate these documents at this time. They are currently only available in English, however we hope to translate them in the future.

External Resources:
To further assist our community members in improving the confidence levels in using Zoom as an online conferencing platform, our team at iCON has discovered some helpful video tutorials on Zoom (in Cantonese) with PDF handouts created by an external organization Alpha Hong Kong*. The two video tutorials below include (1) a Zoom participation guide and (2) a guide for discussion group leader on Zoom.

With a wide variety of websites, blogs, and social media accounts sharing information online, it can be challenging to identify which information is trustworthy and which is not. In this Module, we will explore some key criteria to check for when looking at health information online, provide an overview of some high quality online medical resources, and share tools to use to help analyze the quality of online sources.

Course Materials:

Virtual healthcare is a rapidly growing area, especially during COVID-19 where staying at home can reduce anxiety and decrease risk. Connecting with your healthcare providers using online platforms like Zoom or over the phone is a great option for some types of healthcare appointments. In this session, we will explore the meaning of virtual care, discuss what can and cannot be done using virtual visits, and provide some resources to access care providers virtually.

Promotion Resources

These resources have been created to help you with recruiting participants from your community to participate in your Digital Health Literacy Workshops. Please note that translations will not be available for these resources, we ask that you use these as inspiration or as a starting place for your own promotion and communication plans.

The iCON Communications team has created an infographic with a number of helpful tips and strategies for recruiting participants for your workshops. This is a great starting place if you are looking for guidance on how to recruit participants for your workshops!

Our design team has created a blank poster design that you can use to promote your workshops. The PDF files below have blank spaces where you can add your event details, and a white space at the bottom where you can add the logo(s) from your own organization. These posters are intended as an optional resource, please feel free to adapt this to your needs or use a different poster design if you prefer.

The files below are drafts created by our Communications team that you can adapt to use for promoting your events! Make sure to insert the details for your workshops, and adjust the writing to work for your audience and your workshops. These are only intended as a starting place - feel free to edit these to fit, or just use them as inspiration when writing your own posts or emails.

Evaluation Surveys

These surveys were created to help evaluate the impact of the Digital Health Literacy Workshops in your community. The statistics from these surveys will help us understand the reach of these workshops in our community. Your participants can also enter to win a prize for their time to complete these surveys!

Please ask your community members to fill out the pre-workshop survey before they participate in your workshop, and the post-workshop survey after the final workshop session. After you have finished leading your workshop, please make sure that you fill out the "Workshop Statistics Survey".
