It’s still March, but for us it feels like summer’s here already. Hot on the heels of the successful first year of the UBC Faculty of Medicine eHealth Summer Camp, registration for this year’s camp starts Monday, March 26, 2012! We are happy to report that TELUS is back as a generous sponsor of the camp, and there are 30 spots available in each week. Registration is open to students in Grades 10-12.
Last year’s camps saw the campers programming Android applications, visiting high-tech facilities in the Lower Mainland such as the Vancouver TELUS Innovation Centre and the Centre for Excellence in Simulation Education and Innovation, and exploring health sciences education and career options. The camp was a truly unique experience, and even made national headlines in the Globe and Mail! This year we’re bringing the same level of enthusiasm to the curriculum, and it is sure to be an excellent week.
