Are you a parent or a caregiver of a child in grade 7-10? Join us for our Cantonese language event on February 2nd to learn how to set your child up for success!

Join us for a discussion about how to best support and prepare your child for success!

This session is presented by Digital Emergency Medicine at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver Coastal Health, Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, and Vancouver Technical Secondary School.

Presented in Cantonese, the focus will be on youth in grades 7-10, and their parents and caregivers. Listen to health experts! Meet community support organizations! Ask questions!

Session Goals:
– Achieve and maintain healthy communication
– Support positive mental wellness in youth
– Learn what normal, healthy stress looks like
– Learn strategies to use at home
– Learn how to maintain open communication to support your children

Part of UBC’s Intercultural Online Health Network (iCON) education series for Chinese community members, iCON aims to support Chinese-speaking community members live healthier lives. Through the use of technology, iCON works to increase access to relevant health information.
