On March 23 2017, iCON’s Research Assistants Shawna Narayan and Alex Fung had the opportunity to develop and present a poster of the results from iCON’s mental health forums for Punjabi and Chinese communities to undergraduate students, faculty members, and the community at the University of British Columbia’s Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Conference (MURC). Their presentation – InterCultural Online Health Network (iCON): Impacting the health of B.C.’s South Asian and Chinese immigrant populations through culturally-tailored health promotion – engaged people from diverse disciplines to learn more about iCON’s work in multicultural communities.
