Do you recognize anyone in the pictures below? If you don’t, that may be because some of BC’s academic detailers have been transformed into talented star actors!
Since fall 2011, we at the eHealth Strategy Office worked with the BC Provincial Academic Detailing Service (PAD) to produce three promotional videos that highlight PAD services. The videos will feature essential information about PAD, Technology Enabled Academic Detailing (TEAD) as a feature of PAD, and a short instructional guide on how to connect to a Web-conference TEAD session. The videos will be used to promote PAD and TEAD to physicians and other health care professionals in BC. After final approval of the scripts, we immediately went to work recruiting volunteers to play many different roles such as academic detailers, narrators, physicians, and a medical office assistant. The filming process went quite smoothly and wrapped by July.
We would like to thank all the academic detailers and eHealth Strategy Office staff for contributing their time and amazing energy in order to bring the scripts to life. We are proud to report that the videos are now in the post-production process and we eagerly await the first cut.
